• Fluorspar is officially recognised as a U.S. critical
mineral, underpinning national security, concentrated
supply chain, industrial resilience, and energy transition
objectives.
• Fluorspar is listed on the U.S. Critical Minerals List, first
formalised by Donald Trump - Executive Order 13817
• White House Order for domestic acquisition of critical
materials - Executive Order 14415
• The designation reflects:
• High import dependence
• Concentrated foreign supply
• Essential downstream industrial uses
• Australia, EU, Canada, Japan – recognised Critical

STRATEGIC
POSITIONING
Fluorspar directly supports domestic
manufacturing, electrification, defence
readiness, and chemical sovereignty,
making U.S. projects well-positioned
for:
• Federal and State loan programs
• Strategic offtake backing
• US CHIPS Act investing US$50+ billion
• IRA incentives driving US-based battery
gigafactories
• Permitting prioritisation at state
and federal levels
United States, initiatives such as the “FAST-41”
permitting pathway may support accelerated
development for priority mineral projects.
Trump administration’s “Project Vault”
which aims to establish a US$12B critical
minerals stockpile.
Australian Government has established
the A$1.2B Critical Minerals Strategic
Reserve (CMSR).
Ares Strategic Mining (CSE: ARS) secured major
multi-year U.S. Department of Defense
contract worth up to US$250M over five years.

EPITHERMAL FLUORSPAR FORMATION
• Fluorspar deposits form in the near
surface epithermal environments
• Fluorine bearing hydrothermal
acidic fluids rise from an intrusive
source
• Hot fluorine-rich fluids reacted with
limestone (CaCO3), replacing it with
high-grade fluorspar
• Many historic deposits exploited in
the US were narrow vein volcanic
hosted.
• To get deposits for modern bulk
tonnage techniques – limestone
hosted deposits (such as Quinn)
offer greater tonnes – like Las
Cuevas in Mexico, the largest in
the world

ACIDSPAR & METSPAR PLUS ORE SORTING PATHWAYS
• Reviewed results suggest Quinn mineralisation may be
capable of producing Acidspar & Metspar
• Strong potential for a low CAPEX Direct Shipping MetSpar
Product at Horseshoe and Big Jim
• Conventional Grinding and Flotation identified as the
primary method to produce Acidspar
• Independent QXRD mineralogy strongly corroborates the
exceptional fluorspar content
• Metallurgical testwork program has commenced on 166kg
mining domain suite of samples
• Integrating mineralogy, size-by-assay, grind optimisation,
Heavy Media Separation (HMS), rougher and cleaner
flotation and impurity characterisation
• Bulk sample permit to be lodged to obtain larger samples
for pilot-scale testing
Refer ASX announcement 16 June 2026 and 20 May 2026
• Highly encouraging TOMRA ore sorting results
demonstrate clear discrimination between high-grade
fluorspar, lower-grade/mixed material & waste
• Very low levels of gangue and deleterious elements arsenic,
cadmium, base-metals, sulphur or uranium
• Impurity levels are below typical global industry thresholds
• Early waste rejection has the potential to increase CaF₂ feed
grade while reducing tonnes reporting to downstream
processing = reduced CAPEX and OPEX
